The Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Chikun and Kajuru Local Government Areas of Kaduna State, Reverend Aminu Ayuka, has expressed his deep appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, for his unwavering commitment to the people of Southern Kaduna.

Reverend Ayuka praised the Governor’s leadership style, describing him as a unifying figure who promotes peace, unity, and development across all parts of the state, regardless of religion or ethnicity.

His appreciation for Governor Sani’s leadership stems from the Governor’s efforts to foster peace and unity in the region.

Ayuka noted that the Governor’s approach has been instrumental in bringing people together and promoting harmony among the diverse population of Kaduna State.

However, Reverend Ayuka called on the international community to support Nigeria in its ongoing fight against terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping, which continue to affect innocent citizens across the country.

He urged the United States government and other world leaders to stand with Nigeria by providing genuine support that strengthens peace, security, and economic growth, rather than spreading fear or division.

In response to recent comments by U.S. President Donald Trump, who described the situation in Nigeria as “genocide against Christians,” Reverend Ayuka clarified that there is no such genocide occurring in Nigeria.

He explained that the challenges facing the nation impact everyone—Christians, Muslims, and those without any faith. Ayuka urged the international community to avoid spreading fear or division and instead focus on providing support that promotes peace and unity.

Reverend Ayuka emphasized the importance of unity and hope in the face of adversity.

He concluded with a powerful message: Nigerians are one people, united by hope, faith, and a shared dream of a peaceful and prosperous nation. By working together and supporting one another, he believes Nigeria can overcome its challenges and build a brighter future for all its citizens.
