Niger State Independent Electoral Commission, NSIEC, has presented certificate of return to the 25 local government elected Chairmen and their Vice in the November 1st 2025 elections in the state.
The NSIEC chairman, Engineer Mohammed Jibrin Imam while presenting certificates, reiterated the commitment of the commission in ensuring a free fair and credible conduct of council polls in Niger state.
Engineer Jibrin Imam challenged the chairmen to ensure the provision of dividend of democracy to the people at the grassroots.
He emphasized that the commission operated without any external interference from any quarters, while appreciating the support of governor Mohammed Umar Bago for providing all the necessary logistics for a successful elections.
