BREAKING: Nnamdi Kanu submits defence in terrorism case after court directive

Date:

Biafra separatist leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has complied with the directive of the Federal High Court in Abuja to formally file his defence in the terrorism case brought against him by the Federal Government.

Kanu, who had previously delayed filing his defence, is currently completing and submitting the documents inside the courtroom, following an order by Justice James Omotosho.

After Kanu complained about challenges in filing the necessary papers, Justice Omotosho directed that the court registry be temporarily moved to his courtroom to ensure a smooth process.

Counsel to the Federal Government, Adegboyega Awomolo, SAN, told the court that he would accept Kanu’s filings within the courtroom and respond appropriately.
