OCCEN trains Northwest youths on paralegal activities

A non governmental organization known as Orientation for Community Civic Engagement (OCCEN) with support from National Endowment for Democracy (NED), has trained Northwest Youths on paralegal aids activities .
Speaking during the workshop, Barrister Abba Hikima explained that the frontline youth activists emerged from five northwestern states including Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Jigawa and Zamfara.
He said paralegal training has provided the participants with basic instructions and skills to offer legal first aid to victims of human rights violations.
