The African Democratic Congress, (ADC), yesterday officially unveiled its new National Headquarters in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Speaking at the ceremony, the ADC National Chairman and former Senate President, Senator David Mark described the development as a landmark event, which he said has now opened a new chapter.
At the event were party leaders like Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Tunde Ogbeha, Dino Melaye, former Edo Governor, Prof Osaremhem Osunbor, and other party faithfuls.
According to Mark “Today is a defining moment and a physical testimony to our collective resolve.
“As we make a step forward, this complex from this moment becomes our operational centre where we would champion policy, safeguard democracy and build tomorrow’s leaders.
“It symbolises the rise of a stronger and more politically oriented movement dedicated to nation building.
“Leadership it should be known is about service and responsibility to the Nigerian people. So, with courage and dedication, we would together build a strong and reliable party”, he said.
Also speaking, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi told newsmen that party registration exercise is currently ongoing across the nation.
Abdullahi also hinted that the party is doing everything humanly possible to sustain its harmonious relationships, while assuring that interested persons are welcomed to the party provided they are ready to abide by the party regulations.
