“Since May 2023, Nigeria has undergone sweeping policy shifts presented as bold reforms. Yet for millions of Nigerians, daily life has become harsher, more insecure, and more uncertain.

According to national household surveys, over 60% of families report a decline in real income since 2023, while public confidence in governance continues to erode. This address is not motivated by partisanship. It is driven by patriotism, constitutional duty, and national responsibility. Nations decline not only when leaders err, but when truth is avoided and accountability is postponed. Today, we choose truth.
