Bendel Insurance Football Club,today returned to the field after a short midseason break to begin preparation for the second round of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL26), scheduled to kick off on January 14,2026.
Players and members of the technical crew led by coach Kennedy Boboye were seen at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium at about 4pm today,having their first training exercise on return from new year celebration.
The 5-day holidays which began on Monday, December 29,2025 ended on Friday,January 2, 2026. The few players who are yet to resume are expected to return to camp on Sunday, January 4,2026.
Bendel Insurance FC will be heading to Ilorin for the revised fixture against Kwara Utd on January 14 when the second stanza of the premier league begins.
Insurance FC defeated the Harmony Boys 2-0 on Saturday, December 27 in the Match Day. 19 and last match of the first round in Benin.
According to the technical manager Kennedy Boboye,work will begin in full scale on Monday as he expects some new face to fortify his team.
