The Emir of Zazzau has been a strong advocate for voter registration, consistently encouraging citizens to participate in the democratic process. In 2025, he praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting the CVR exercise, stating that it would enable eligible citizens, especially the youth, to contribute to the growth of democracy in Nigeria.

KAD-SIECOM aims to collaborate with traditional leaders to reach all 23 Local Government Areas and 255 wards in Kaduna State. The focus will be on targeting eligible voters who have not yet registered, those who turned 18 after the last registration period, and individuals who have lost or damaged their PVCs.
