Church pays staff school fees, health bills — Pastor Korede

The Presiding Pastor of Master’s Place International Church, Pastor Korede Komaiya, has said the church fully pays the school fees of its staff’s children and covers all their health-related expenses.

Komaiya made the disclosure in a video message titled “This Is The Foundation: To Raise Leaders, Love People,” which surfaced online recently.

According to the cleric, staff welfare is central to the church’s leadership philosophy, stressing that workers must feel a deep sense of belonging.

“How many times have we gathered and people are acknowledged for unbroken years of service? How many times have properties been given to people here?” he asked.

He said the ministry does not operate an employer-employee structure but treats all workers as stakeholders.

“In our ministry, I don’t believe in employer and employee. I only want stakeholders,” Komaiya stated.

The pastor added that all staff members are on church-sponsored welfare packages, including education and healthcare.

“Anyone who is a staff of the ministry, all their children are on church scholarship. Education, we pay for it. Health, 100 per cent. Any health crisis, our ministry pays for it,” he said.

He further revealed that staff salaries are paid without deductions, accommodation is provided free, and vehicles are replaced every four years.

“As you rise in leadership, you go abroad once a year,” he added.

Komaiya disclosed that the church paid a 13th-month salary in December, alongside a 50 per cent bonus.

He said love and genuine care remain the strongest tools for leadership and followership.

“Nothing attracts people like loving them,” the cleric declared.

The statement comes amid recent criticism trailing his controversial remark, “I will never follow a poor pastor,” which he said was misunderstood, misquoted and taken out of context.
