The leaders acknowledged the Governor’s explicit assurances that the Kaduna State Government, working with the Federal Government, would secure the release of the abducted persons.

The statement also welcomed the approval to establish a military formation in Kurmin Wali, following the Governor’s request to the Honourable Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd).

This, they said, would strengthen security in the community and extend protection to surrounding rural and agrarian areas.

The leaders also appreciated the Governor’s commitment to the long-term welfare of Kurmin Wali through the announcement of a hospital and the construction of an access road.

They expressed gratitude to the National Security Adviser and the Honourable Minister of Defence for their efforts to secure the release of the victims and restore calm.
