N-HYPPADEC honours MD, others for performance

National Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (N-HYPPADEC) has celebrated the reappointment of its Managing Director, Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa and some staff with outstanding performance for the year 2025.
The reappointment celebration was held in Minna during N-HYPPADEC’s merit and productivity award to its staff in Minna.
The Director Finance and Administration Jimoh Haruna Gabi in his address thanked the Managing Director for being a good role model to everyone in the commission and for his absolute
commitment in leading N-HYPPADEC to greater heights.
He also appreciated awardees who distinguished themselves in carrying out assigned responsibilities bringing to bear innovative ideas to keep the commission on track.
In his remarks, the N-HYPPADEC Managing Director Abubakar Sadiq appreciated all the staff of the
commission for their support and hard work in all achievements recorded so
far, encouraging them to do more, adding that indiscipline and corruption will not be tolerated.
Abubakar Yelwa reassured them of his willingness for continuous training, retraining and professional development within the commission and support
for staff especially in the area offices by giving special palliatives in order to have good programme delivery.
