President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday swore in Tunji Disu as the 23rd Inspector-General of Police and inaugurated commissioners of key federal bodies shortly before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.

After administering the Oath of Office on Disu as the nation’s police chief, the President proceeded to inaugurated six commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) and two commissioners of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC).

Tinubu presided over the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting, which began immediately after the inauguration.

Those in attendance at the inauguration included Vice President Kashim Shettima, Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and Head of the Civil Service of the Federation Esther Walson-Jack.
