Two persons have been reportedly killed yesterday following an attack by unknown gunmen at a village called Rafin Bwaunan in Bassa local government area of Plateau state, the state’s S[ecial Task Force (STF) has said.
The STF Media and Information Officer in the state, Captain Ikedichi Iweha, who confirmed the incident further said the attack was armed robbery-related.
Peoples Daily learnt from Yusuf Usman, a leader in the area that Abdullahi Hassan and Hannatu Safiyanu, who were the deceased in the incident were both 14 year old.
He further accused that the attackers were from Gero, a neighbouring community of Jos-South Local Government area, at the early hours of yesterday, emphasising that the killers attacked his people, while they were working on their farms.
He explained that one of killed persons was even beheaded.
