Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has visited Sayaya village in Matazu Local Government Area following a recent bandits’ attack on the community.

The assailants attacked the local police station and killed one policeman, vandalized the Primary Health Care Centre, and looted several shops in the village.

Upon arrival in Sayaya, Governor Radda inspected the affected facilities, including the Primary Health Care Centre and shops, to assess the extent of damages. He also met with residents and commiserated with them over the incident.

During the visit, the Governor condoled with the Divisional Police Officer and officers and men of the state police command over the death of the policeman and extended his sympathies to the families of villagers affected by the violence.

He directed the immediate deployment of additional security operatives to safeguard  people in the community.
