The Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of Operations, DIG Shehu Umar Nadada, and the Commissioner of Police, Kaduna State Command, CP Rabiu Muhammad, are leading efforts to enhance security and foster peaceful coexistence in Kaduna State.
According to a statement signed by DSP Mansir Hassan Anipr, PPRO Kaduna State Police Command, the senior officers conducted an operational tour of affected communities in the southern parts of the state, including Kachia, Sanga, Jere, Zango, Kajuru, and Kafanchan Local Government Areas, as well as other areas.
During the visit, DIG Nadada and CP Muhammad strategically engaged with key stakeholders, including traditional rulers, community leaders, Miyetti Allah, other Fulani leaders, religious figures, and youth representatives.
Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between security agencies and communities, resolving farmer-herder conflicts, and improving intelligence sharing to combat criminal activities more effectively.
The DIG stressed the significance of peaceful coexistence, calling on residents to live harmoniously and avoid actions that could escalate tensions.
“The Nigeria Police Force is committed to safeguarding lives and property,” he assured.
The engagement allowed community members to voice their concerns and help develop practical solutions to restore lasting peace in the area.
The Kaduna State Police Command reaffirms its commitment to community-oriented policing and encourages residents to support security efforts in maintaining peace and stability throughout the State.
