Forum of State Social Health Insurance Agencies elect Chairman

Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has congratulated Mohammed Safana, the Director General of the Katsina State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency, on his election as Chairman of the Forum of Chief Executive Officers of State Social Health Insurance Agencies.

In a statement issued on Saturday by his spokesman, Ibrahim Kaula, Radda described the election as a deserved recognition of Safana’s competence, dedication and outstanding contributions to healthcare financing in Nigeria.

“This victory belongs not only to Mohammed Safana but to Katsina State. It is a testament to the quality of leadership we have invested in our healthcare sector. We are proud of him,” said the governor.

He charged Safana to approach his new national responsibility with the same energy and commitment that distinguished him at home.

“The confidence that your peers across the country have reposed in you is not a decoration. It is a mandate. Lead the forum with vision, fairness and results,” he added.

Radda also urged Safana to use the platform to push for stronger collaboration among state health insurance agencies, deepen access to quality healthcare for ordinary Nigerians and drive policy reforms that put the people first.
