A medical staff of the Baruten local government area of Kwara state, Mr. Bukari Gera, has been shot dead by unknown gunmen on Tuesday evening.
Gera, who was attached to the Beru Dispensary clinic in Beru village via Yashikira it was learnt, was coming from his farm when the ugly incident happened.
The Divisional Police Office (DPO) of Yashikira Division, Alhaji Shittu, confirmed the incident to journalists on Wednesday.
He said that no arrest had been made because it happened in a thick forest.
“They came to report yesterday. So, we are aware; but no arrest has been made for now”, he added.
