Alhaji Muktar Galadima, a Peoples Democratic Party aspirant for the Wukari/Ibi Federal Constituency seat, says he has full confidence in the PDP leadership at both state and national levels.
Galadima stated this on Thursday at the PDP State Secretariat in Jalingo while submitting his nomination and expression of interest forms for the 2027 race.
He thanked the party for clearing him to contest and acknowledged his constituents for urging him to seek the office.
The town planner and former director in the Federal Capital Development Authority said the contest had given him valuable experience.
“I am grateful to the party for providing me with a platform to contest for the House of Representatives seat, I want to acknowledge the people of Wukari and Ibi who have called on me to represent them.
“I perceive challenges as instruments of triumph, with humanity and with the fear of God,” he said.
Galadima dismissed claims of a crisis within the Taraba PDP, stressed that no factional split exists in the state chapter, expressed readiness to accept any primary process the party adopts.
“Whether through primaries or consensus, the matter should be determined by the party’s stakeholders. I will abide by whatever decision the party leadership and stakeholders reach,” he stated.
