Senator Mohammed Ibrahim Bomoi, the senator representing Yobe South and a governorship aspirant, has reaffirmed his commitment to the consensus arrangement adopted by the All Progressives Congress in Yobe State.
The statement was signed by Mamman Mohammed, Director-General, Press and Media Affairs to the Governor Mai Mala Buni, on Saturday.
Bomoi stated this on Saturday after a meeting with Governor Mai Mala Buni at the Government House in Damaturu.
According to the senator, the party remains united and focused on strengthening its chances ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“APC remains a united and indivisible party, and we will continue to remain united and work for the success of the party in line with its consensus arrangement,” Bomoi said.
Responding, Governor Buni commended the senator for his understanding, maturity, and commitment to the unity of the party and the progress of the state.
The governor called on other aspirants within the party to emulate Senator Bomoi by placing the interest of the party above personal ambition in order to approach the 2027 elections with a united front.
