When I read that the beheaded Oyo teacher died childless after over 10 years of marriage, it completely broke my heart.

Imagine the silent pain he may have carried for years before these heartless people came and took away his life, leaving his widow to begin life all over again.

Imagine the heartbreak and sorrow both families are enduring right now.

Imagine the trauma and nightmares the wife would face seeing pictures or videos of her murdered husband scattered all over social media.

There are certain things I can never bring myself to post on my pages, especially when grieving families are already battling the pain of losing loved ones in such a cruel and senseless manner.
How can anyone suggest amnesty or reintegration for people who have plunged families into misery and lifelong pain?

How can any reasonable human being defend people capable of such evil acts? This is not just pain; it is a nightmare that will haunt the family, especially the wife, for the rest of her life.

May God punish everyone responsible for bringing insecurity to Nigeria.

May God punish everyone enabling and supporting terrorists.

May God punish everyone giving information to kidnappers and terrorists.

May God also punish all those who continue to inflict untold hardship on Nigerians because of ambitions that should never cost innocent souls.

Security agencies should leave no stone unturned in rescuing those still in captivity. They should also stop releasing sensitive information to the public while victims remain in the bush, especially with disturbing videos already circulating online. It only worsens the pain for affected families.

I write this in deep pain because this could have happened to anybody… me, you, or someone we know. I cannot imagine the lifelong sorrow this family and many others are carrying right now.

What hurts even more is knowing that the teacher left no child behind to carry on his legacy or comfort his widow in this difficult time.

May God strengthen her and every family going through this kind of pain, and may He protect those still in captivity, in Jesus’ name.
