Dame Julie Donli, OON, Bayelsa State Coordinator of the Tinubu Torch Bearers, has congratulated Chief Samuel Ogbuku, PhD, on his emergence as the Paramount Ruler of Ayakoro Community, Ogbia Local Government Area.
Donli described Ogbuku’s ascension to the revered throne as Daufa VI as a well-deserved honour and recognition of his exemplary leadership, integrity, and commitment to community development.
She noted that his emergence through the constitutional succession process reflected the confidence, trust, and respect he enjoys among the people of Ayakoro Community.
The Tinubu Torch Bearers Coordinator commended the peaceful transition supervised by the Bayelsa State Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, describing it as a model of due process.
Donli expressed confidence that Ogbuku’s wealth of experience as Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission would positively impact his traditional leadership responsibilities.
She said his pledge to lead with humility, promote peace, unity, and sustainable development aligns with the aspirations of the people for greater progress and prosperity.
According to her, Ogbuku’s emergence marks the beginning of a new chapter of inclusive leadership, harmony, and community advancement in Ayakoro.
