The Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) on Monday congratulated Governor Abiodun Oyebanji on his historic victory in the Ekiti state governorship election, which was held on Saturday.
In a statement made available to newsmen, the Director, Media & Publicity of the RHA, Tunde Rahman equally congratulated the South-west Zonal Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Chief Dayo Adeyeye, the Ekiti State Coordinator, and the 16 Local Government Coordinators on the victory.
The group equally applauded the people of Ekiti state for coming out in their numbers to participate in the exercise which he said was peaceful, transparent, and credible.
Similarly, the APC support group commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his bold reforms and policies which it said created the enabling environment for victory at the polls.
Other notable party stalwarts mentioned include: the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and Imo state governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma; the Deputy Director-General and governor of Kaduna state, Sen. Uba Sani; the Secretary and governor of Gombe state, Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya, amongat several others .
“The decision of the Ekiti people reflects strong confidence in Governor Oyebanji’s Shared Prosperity Agenda and its alignment with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision for Nigeria.
“As Renewed Hope Ambassadors, our work has only just begun. We must work for the victory of the APC candidate in the Osun Governorship Election on August 15 and continue the task of articulating and disseminating the reforms and achievements of President Tinubu, which are significant and potent enough to ensure Mr. President’s re-election in January 2027.
“Governor Oyebanji’s first term delivered visible results in infrastructure, agriculture, youth empowerment, healthcare, and education. This renewed mandate is a call on the governor to do more in his second term”.
The Renewed Hope Ambassadors while urging the governor to be inclusive and magnanimous in victory also reaffirmed their commitment to mobilise support for policies that deepen development in Ekiti and across the entire country.
