The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has elected Chidi Mike Anyanwu as its candidate for the Okigwe North Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, setting the stage for what is expected to be a keenly contested election in Imo State.
Anyanwu emerged at the end of the party’s nomination exercise, securing the backing of delegates and key stakeholders who described his selection as a reflection of growing calls for leadership anchored on accountability, development and grassroots engagement.
