From Bashir Rabe Mani in Sokoto
Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State has approved the appointment of additional Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, and Permanent Secretaries.
This was contained in a statement issued on Thursday in Sokoto by Abubakar Bawa, Director-General, Media and Publicity, Government House, Sokoto.
The statement listed the new Special Advisers as Garba Muhammad S/Birni,
Mukhtari Bello Abdulrahman, Shi’itu M. Bello, Alhaji Tukur Sanyinna, Alhaji Abdullahi Jabo and Mamman Aliyu Salisu, while the Senior Special Assistants are Jummai Bello Kware, Nana Mamman Nasarawa and Emmanuel Ekereke.
Those appointed Permanent Secretaries include Buhari Umar, Abdullahi B. Muhammad, Musa Muhammad, and Jibril Sa’adu while Aliyu Magaji will serve in acting capacity.
The statement said all the appointments were with immediate effect.
