FCMPH swears in “traditional medicine chief judges” to purge fake practitioners

In a major move to sanitize the alternative healthcare sector, the leadership of the First Class Medicinal Plants and Herbs (FCMPH) company has formally inaugurated and crowned a panel of “Traditional Medicine Chief Judges.”
The newly appointed judges are tasked with regulating and overseeing the activities of Traditional Medicine Practitioners (TMPs) across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and the wider nation.
Speaking at the coronation ceremony held at the Jeparo Hotel in Gwagwalada, the National President of FCMPH, Dr. Gimba Zubeiru, revealed that the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)-registered company is taking a aggressive stance against quackery.
He noted that to enforce standards, the organization has officially established a dedicated task force to track down and arrest fake practitioners operating nationwide.
The event drew community leaders, including the Village Head of Anguwan Bassa, Mr. Sule Magaji, who advised the newly crowned judges to discharge their duties with the fear of God.
Magaji warned the judicial panel to shun any corrupt acts capable of tarnishing the image and public trust of traditional medicine.
The newly appointed judicial team includes: Dr. Gimba Zubeiru – National Traditional Chief Judge Mallam Abdullahi Ishaq – National Traditional Chief Judge (Muslim Affairs) Mr. Nugboyon Prosper & Mrs. Uche Clementina Uke – National Traditional Chief Judges (Christian Affairs) Mallam Ibrahim Jibril – Traditional Chief Judge (FCT)
Fatima Sadiq, Abdullahi Tsufem, and Mr. Umar Adams – Assistant Traditional Chief Judges (FCT).
