NULGE commiserates with late Danbatta’s family

The National President of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees(NULGE),Comrade Ibrahim Khalil has commiserated with the family of late Alhaji Magaji Dambatta, adding that his death was a colossal loss to the country.

The erstwhile confab delegate died last month, after prolong illness and has since been buried at his home town in Kano state.

In a press statement issued yesterday, the NULGE President expressed shock over the late elder statesman demise, noting that the deceased was an icon of peace and progress in the country.

In his words, “Nigeria has lost an outstanding figure, a detribalized person, patriotic citizen and above all, a God fearing, man who always put the national interest above personal feelings.”

Khalil also called on the Federal Government to try and immortalize the deceased for his selfless services to the country.
