Serie A clubs battle for Chukwueze

Two Serie A clubs, Fiorentina and Bologna have emerged as potential suitors for Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze
Reports indicate that both Italian sides are exploring a move for the AC Milan forward as they look to strengthen their attacking options before the close of the summer transfer window.
Chukwueze returned to AC Milan after Fulham opted not to make his loan move permanent at the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
The Nigerian international showed glimpses of his quality during his spell at Craven Cottage, but was unable to secure a long-term stay with the Premier League club.
The 27-year-old has also been linked with Turkish Cup winners Trabzonspor.
However, reports indicate that the winger is not interested in making a move to Turkey at this stage of his career.
Despite growing transfer speculation, new AC Milan head coach Ruben Amorim is said to be keen on retaining Chukwueze as part of his plans for the upcoming season.
Fiorentina, who have tracked the former Villarreal winger in the past, are looking to reinforce their attack and have revived their interest in the Nigerian.
The Florence-based club are also monitoring another Super Eagles player as they continue their recruitment drive.
Bologna have also stepped up their pursuit, viewing Chukwueze as a player capable of bringing pace, creativity, and valuable top-flight experience to their squad.
Despite the growing transfer interest, Chukwueze is still an AC Milan player, with further developments expected before the transfer window closes.
