Addressing the Controllers, the Minister urged them to align with the Ministry’s vision and work collectively towards building a more regulated, coordinated and responsible housing sector capable of making greater contributions to Nigeria’s economy.

He noted that the real estate sector has been ranked by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) as the third-largest contributor to the nation’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP), stressing that the sector must continue to justify its strategic importance through improved performance and collaboration among stakeholders.

Darma charged the Controllers to discharge their responsibilities diligently and professionally to ensure the effective implementation of the Ministry’s presidential priorities and ministerial mandates.
