Dangote says Tinubu’s $1 Trillion Economy Vision Realistic

Africa’s richest man and chairman of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, says President Bola  Tinubu’s $1-trillion economy vision for Nigeria by 2031 is realistic and feasible.

Dangote said this when he received a high-level delegation led by the Minister of State for Industry Senator John Enoh, on an extensive tour of the 700,000 barrels-per-day Dangote Petroleum Refinery, Dangote Petrochemicals complex, and Dangote Fertiliser Limited in Lagos.

He said that the refinery has keyed into the $1 trillion economy vision by setting a target of $100 billion by 2031.

Dangote commended the appointment of Senator Enoh as minister, saying he has distinguished himself as a comitted member of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria.

He expressed confidence that the minister would drive the country’s industrial policy to success, adding that so far, Senator Enoh has been more committed than his predecessors.

Dangote, however, underscored the need for the Ministry of Industries to play more crucial role in job creation, investment, and wealth creation.
