The Commissioner of Police for the FCT Command, CP Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, on Thursday, hosted a high-level military delegation led by the Commander of the Army Headquarters Garrison (AHQ Garrison), Major General JR Lar, at the FCT Police Command Headquarters in Abuja.
During the courtesy visit, Major General Lar acknowledged the strong ongoing cooperation between the FCT Police Command and the Army Garrison.
He called for continued collaboration in intelligence sharing and joint operations, while advocating for stronger camaraderie among personnel from both institutions.
This was disclosed in a statement from SP Josephine Adeh, Police Public Relations Officer, FCT Police Command, Abuja.
In his response, CP Sanusi assured the Garrison Commander of the Command’s unalloyed support in maintaining peace and stability across the Federal Capital Territory.
He reaffirmed the FCT Police Command’s commitment to deepening the inter-agency partnership to effectively tackle security challenges in the nation’s capital.
According to the statement, the meeting concluded with an exchange of goodwill, contact information, and a group photograph.
