3SC Appoints Salisu Yusuf as Technical Adviser
Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) has announced the appointment of former Super Eagles Coach Salisu Yusuf as the club’s Technical Adviser.
In a statement on Friday, the club said it is confident that Coach Salisu Yusuf will bring strong leadership, tactical expertise and a winning mentality to the Oluyole Warriors as it set eyes domestic and continental success.
The experienced tactician arrives at the Oluyole Warriors with an impressive coaching pedigree spanning over two decades. Since beginning his managerial career with Nasarawa United in 2002, Yusuf has worked with several of Nigeria’s leading clubs, including Kano Pillars, Rangers International and Enyimba, and was most recently with Coton Sport in Benin.
At international level, Coach Salisu Yusuf has served as an assistant coach of the Super Eagles and has also handled the Super Eagles B and Nigeria U-23 teams. In 2018, he guided the home-based Super Eagles to the final of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco.
“His wealth of experience, deep understanding of Nigerian football and proven ability to work with and develop homegrown talent make him a valuable addition to our technical setup as we prepare for the challenges ahead.
“The club is confident that Coach Salisu Yusuf will bring strong leadership, tactical expertise and a winning mentality to the Oluyole Warriors as we pursue our ambitions across domestic and continental competitions.
