BREAKING: Atiku sues Tinubu over alleged forgery of NYSC certificate
The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, has sued President Bola Tinubu over alleged forgery of his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge certificate.
In a suit filed at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday, Atiku is seeking Tinubu’s disqualification from the 2027 presidential election.
He is asking the court to determine whether the alleged discrepancy in the certificate affects Tinubu’s qualification to contest the 2027 presidential election.
The suit also challenges provisions of the Electoral Act 2026 in relation to the qualification of presidential candidates.
