Intending pilgrims from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) planning to perform the 2027 Hajj will pay N7,672,822.00, the FCT Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board (MPWB) announced.
The Director of the Board, Malam Kadiri Edah, disclosed the finalized fare structure during an interactive session with journalists at his office in Abuja.
He explained that the rate aligns with the official pricing guidelines released by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
The Board urged all registered intending pilgrims to complete their payments and documentation promptly.
Pilgrims who previously made initial deposits of N7.5 million or less must pay the outstanding balance via bank draft payable to the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Abuja.
Closing Date: The absolute deadline for all balance payments is September 25, 2026.
Passport Submission: Intending pilgrims who have not yet submitted their original international passports are advised to hand them over immediately to avoid forfeiting their slot.
Mandatory Documentation Checklist To secure a slot for the exercise, pilgrims must submit the following credentials:
Valid Passport: An international passport valid until at least October 2027.
National Identification: A photocopy of the National Identification Number (NIN) slip.
Photos & Verification: Four recent passport photographs along with a fully completed Guarantor’s Form.
Director Edah reassured intending pilgrims of the Board’s ongoing commitment to a smooth exercise, guaranteeing timely airlifts, suitable accommodation, and quality meal provisions throughout their stay in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
