Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has congratulated the Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Abdulhamid Salihu Dembos, and the Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Ali Mohammed Ali, on the renewal of their appointments for another three-year term by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Radda described the renewal as a clear vote of confidence in the leadership of the two media chiefs.
According to a statement from Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, their reappointment reflects the reforms and progress recorded in their respective agencies in line with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The governor commended President Tinubu for consistently identifying capable professionals to drive reforms across key sectors of the country.
He said the decision to retain Dembos and Ali demonstrates the President’s commitment to competence, experience and results in public service.
Radda urged the NTA Director-General and NAN Managing Director to see their renewed mandates as another opportunity to strengthen their agencies, uphold professionalism and continue to justify the confidence President Tinubu has placed in their leadership.
The governor, on behalf of the government and the people of Katsina State, wished Dembos and Ali a successful second tenure and greater accomplishments in service to the nation.
