The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has paid tribute to the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on the occasion of her 66th birthday, describing her as a major pillar of support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the nation at large.
In a goodwill message issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, the Minister lauded the First Lady for her unwavering commitment to public service and the welfare of vulnerable citizens.
Wike specifically commended Senator Tinubu’s interventions in the nation’s capital, pointing to the ongoing transformation of the Abuja City Gate as a clear manifestation of her dedication to the success of the current administration.
He further highlighted the impactful reach of her signature humanitarian platform, the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), noting that its programs have brought tangible relief and succour to women, children, and underprivileged groups across the country.
“At 66, the simple way of life of the First Lady, Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu, CON, has remained an inspiration to women in the country, and it is my prayer that God will continue to uphold her.
“Most importantly, this new age is a confirmation of God’s love for her, and I pray that the good Lord will continue to grant her good health,” Wike stated.
Reaffirming his support, the FCT Minister added: “I celebrate and rejoice with our ever-caring and development-oriented First Lady on the attainment of this significant age in her life, and wish her many more years of service to our country, Nigeria.”
