2027: Obi says he’s better prepared to challenge Tinubu

Date:

The presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress, Peter Obi, has said he and his team are better prepared for the 2027 general election than they were in 2023.

Obi, who contested the 2023 presidential election on the platform of the Labour Party, said the opposition would also collaborate to secure a free, fair, credible and transparent poll.

The former Anambra State governor stated this during an appearance on Global Digital Town on Sunday.

He said the NDC was committed to working with other opposition parties to strengthen the democratic process ahead of the 2027 election.

“We are more prepared than we were before, and we are going to collaborate with other opposition parties to ensure that we have a free, fair, credible and transparent election in 2027,” Obi said.
