The National Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) has congratulated Seyi Tinubu, the Okanlomo of Yorubaland, on his 41st birthday anniversary.
In a statement on Monday in Abuja, YOWICAN described Tinubu, recipient of the National YOWICAN Peace Ambassador Award, as an outstanding youth advocate, philanthropist and nation builder.
The statement was jointly signed by the National Chairman of YOWICAN, Ademola Arowolo, and the National Secretary, Nehemiah Nanmwa Michael.
It said Tinubu, born on Oct. 13, 1985, has distinguished himself through commitment to youth empowerment, social development and national unity, inspiring millions of young Nigerians.
The organisation commended his support for initiatives that promote peace, leadership, community development and advancement of young people across the country.
YOWICAN also announced that as part of its ongoing national peacebuilding efforts, the National Christian-Muslim Youth Peace Accord Movement will commence its zonal engagements with the South-West Zonal Peace Accord Summit and Dialogue.
According to the association, the summit is scheduled to hold from Oct. 28 to Oct. 30, 2026, and will serve as the official kickoff of a nationwide campaign designed to strengthen interfaith harmony, peaceful coexistence and national unity among youths.
It noted that the ideals exemplified by Tinubu align closely with the vision of the Peace Accord Movement, which seeks to mobilise young people across the six geopolitical zones toward building a more peaceful, united and prosperous Nigeria.
“As you celebrate another milestone, may your passion for empowering the next generation, fostering national unity and contributing to Nigeria’s development continue to yield lasting fruits for the benefit of our nation and humanity at large,” the statement added.
