The Tinubu/Dikko 2027 Campaign Council in Katsina State has unveiled its organisational structure, including the appointment of five campaign coordinators in each of the state’s 34 local government areas.
The move is to strengthen grassroots coordination and mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The structure provides for ward coordinating committees and specialised committees on fundraising, monitoring and election activities, as the All Progressives Congress (APC) prepares to begin campaign across the state.
The council’s Director-General, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, unveiled the plan during a pre-inauguration meeting held at the Presidential Banquet Hall, Government House, Katsina.
Dangiwa explained the council’s structure and terms of reference for the directorates and the membership of the various committees.
He also outlined the responsibilities of the local government and ward-level structures in coordinating activities at the grassroots.
The meeting also reviewed the APC campaign timetable and plans for the formal inauguration and flag-off activities.

In his remarks, the APC State Chairman, Dr. Bishir Gambo Saulawa, said the campaign was about more than Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, stressing that the broader concern was the interest of Katsina State.
He called attention to the wider significance of the campaign, which is being organised under the Tinubu/Dikko 2027 banner.

Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa, Co-Chairman of the campaign council, delivered a goodwill message on behalf of Governor Radda, who chairs the council.
The Principal Private Secretary to Katsina State Governor, who is also the Secretary-General of the Campaign Council, Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji, also mentioned the objectives of the meeting.

The meeting also considered the terms of reference guiding the directorates and the coordination of their activities as preparations continue for the 2027 elections.

The establishment of local government and ward structures is intended to provide an organisational framework for engaging party stakeholders and coordinating campaign activities throughout Katsina State.
