10 Nigerian Startups Take Homegrown Tech to Global Market

Date:

Ten Nigerian startups are set to take homegrown innovations to the global market as they showcase their technologies at the APAC Summit 2026 in Singapore on October 30, targeting international investors, business partnerships and expansion into the Asia-Pacific region.
Selected under the NIMENA programme, the startups will present solutions spanning financial technology, agriculture, healthcare, logistics, security, education and digital media to international businesses, investors and innovation partners.
The initiative, announced by Plug and Play APAC, seeks to connect the founders with the wider Asia-Pacific innovation ecosystem and create opportunities for cross-border collaboration and market expansion.
The participating startups are Dojah, led by Oluwatobiloba Ololade; Sorair Technologies, led by Kunmi Oludoyi; Happaning, founded by Andrew ‘Ando’ Eniwumide; HealthStack, led by Dr Simpa Dania; i-Purvey, co-founded by Abdul Isiaq; Shipbubble, co-founded by Ayodeji Abon; Crop2Cash, co-founded by Seyi Alabi; Youverify, represented by Hakeem Akiode; TradeBuza, co-founded by Nonso Eze; and BeGenio Tech, founded by Dr Grace Togun Olugbodi.
Their innovations address practical challenges across different sectors. Dojah and Youverify provide identity verification and compliance technology, while Crop2Cash helps smallholder farmers build financial identities to improve access to credit. TradeBuza connects African agricultural producers to international markets.
In logistics and security, i-Purvey develops technology to anticipate disruptions in aviation and maritime operations, Shipbubble simplifies deliveries for online merchants, while Sorair deploys automated drone and camera systems to monitor industrial facilities.
HealthStack focuses on digital health systems, BeGenio Tech uses game-based learning to improve children’s mathematics skills, while Happaning allows viewers to choose camera angles during live events.
Their participation offers an opportunity to move beyond the African market, attract international investment and explore commercial partnerships that could support their global expansion.
However, converting international exposure into lasting business success will depend on their ability to secure local partners, meet regulatory requirements and demonstrate that their solutions can compete effectively in the Asia-Pacific market.
The APAC Summit 2026 is expected to provide a platform for the founders to engage prospective investors, businesses and technology partners as they explore new routes into the global marketplace.
The summit will take place in Singapore on October 30.
