The Match Day 29 game between Warri Wolves and Abia Warriors fixed for Sunday afternoon at the Warri City stadium has been postponed. The clash has been moved to todayat the same venue owing to the heavy downpour in the oil-rich Warri City.
Sources in Warri confirmed that the Warri City Stadium is currently waterlogged and the Centre Referee Amoo from Kwara State who is meant to handle the game has pushed the game to 9am today. Wolves are hoping for a double over Coach Ladan Bosso’s men after they won the reverse fixture by a lone goal off the boots of Austin Amutu. The Warri team occupies the 4th position on the league table.
