Kaduna pilgrims hold special prayers for Nigeria’s peace, stability in Makkah

As millions of pilgrims gathered at mount Arafat in Saudi Arabia to complete their hajj exercise, Kaduna state pilgrims held a special prayer for peace stability of Nigeria including Kaduna state.

The prayer session, which was led by the state’s Amirul Hajj, Malam Rabi’u Bako, had in attendance other scholars in the state scholars among his team for 2014 hajjexercise, including other pilgrims.

They prayed for peace to reign in Nigeria, as they claimed that the country needs prayer now than ever before due to its current security challenges.

Chief Imam of Waff Road mosque, Sheikhs Sani Isah emphasised on the need for the special prayers for Nigeria, particularly as the country approaches the election period.

“We pray to Allah to save and protect our dear country and state, we also pray to Allah to help us out of the insecurity problem facing our country. We equally ask Allah to end thekillings going on in the country. As election approaches, we pray for a hitch-free election in Kaduna state and may Allah help our governor, Muktar Ramalan Yero,” he said.

Chief Imam of Umar ibn Khattab Mosque , Sheikh M.T Suleiman also added by praying for the unity of Muslims in the country as he also prayed to Allah to continue protecting Muslims wherever they are.

The Amirul Hajj, in his remarks, Malam Rabi’u Bako said the organized the special prayer for Nigeria at Mount Arafat so that Allah would protect the country and Kaduna state, as he equally pray to Allah to protect governor Muktar Ramalan Yero as he governed the state.
