Mariah Carey has changed the words of a song while performing it, suggesting the cheating lyrics may have been about her estranged husband Nick Cannon.
The Heartbreaker singer and her America’s Got Talent host husband have been spending increasing amounts of time apart and it was recently reported that they were heading for a split.
Now, E! has said that while performing the Billie Holiday song Don’t Explain in Tokyo, Mariah sang: “I know you cheated, motherf*****,” instead of, “And I know you cheat. Right or wrong, don’t matter.”
A source told E! of her troubles with Nick: “She has made up her mind. She is definitely divorcing him.”
Mariah is said to have spent time with the couple’s twins Monroe and Moroccan but without her husband in Atlanta before embarking on her world tour, but apparently hasn’t decided where to settle once she gets back home after the tour.
