A political organization, Buhari Solution Network, has explained that former Head of State, General Mohammed Buhari (Rtd), should be supported to become the President of the country in 2015 to enable him rescue Nigerians from the current bad governance of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The leader of the group, Ali Saidu, who is also a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi state, said this in a rally organized to raise support funds for the APC’s presidential aspirant in Bauch state.

According to Saidu, “we organised this rally in support of the former general and to seek for funds to enable Buhari to buy APC presidential nomination form immediately after declaring in Abuja soon.

“As you know, Buhari is not a corrupt public figure that is rich to buy APC presidential form, so as his supporters, we decided to put our hands together, including the masses to enable him buy it” said Saidu.

He stressed that the former general is not deterred in his determination to contest presidential slot against any aspirant regardless of his economic and political status, saying Nigerians need urgent change of governance.

He noted that if Buhari is voted into power through the APC, Nigeria would witness tremendous development, especially as he is a man of the masses which is justified by his leadership dynamism.

“It is time for Nigerians to heave a sigh of relief from the misrule of the PDP who have succeeded in creating permanent poverty, hunger and starvation in the country”, Saidu said.

He lamented that PDP failed to address the lingering crises attributed to the emergence of insurgence in the North-east, thereby affecting the socio-economic and political development of the region.

“There is no comparism between the military regime and the current misrule of the PDP under Jonathan because the government has failed to make any difference for the yearning and aspirations of people” Saidu concluded.
