Players of Dolphins FC and Sharks FC have embarked on a protest march to the Rivers State government house in Port Harcourt over unpaid sign-on fees. Players of the two Premier League teams say they are tired of the waiting game having been promised at different times that the owed monies will be paid.

“They have been promising us for months but they keep failing, we have to show our displeasure today” one of the protesting players stated.

Currently the Port Harcourt teams are not doing badly in the League as they currently occupy sixth and seventh spot on the log with a good chance of snapping a continental ticket. Aside the players of the Premier League sides who are set to be addressed at the Government House, it was gathered that a sprinkle of Nigeria Women Premier League side, Rivers Angels are also at the Government House to also protest their unpaid monies.
