fg-PresidencyBy Umar Muhammad Puma

Senior Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on political matters, Professor Rufai Ahmed Alkali has described the Jonathan presidency in 2015 to 2019 as a Nigerian project that excites a lot of Nigerians thereby making the project a national project driven by the people of the country.

Alkali said this yesterday when executive members of the South-south Media Professional Forum paid him a courtesy call in his office in Abuja.

He noted that in 2011, the South-south could lay claim to Jonathan as theirs being the first time they were presenting him to the country to steer the affairs of state, the other parts as it is usual may have doubted his capacity until now that he has proved them wrong with the records of transformation that is touching every aspects of our lives.

According to Alkali “Today is not 2011 when you were saying that he is our own in the perspective of the region, now he is ‘our own’ as a Nigerian own that should be the spirit because he has ascended to a national light and proved to be a leader of focus and vision for the country.”
