NEFTA confers Jonathan with ‘Most Entrepreneurship Friendly President ‘award.

The Nigeria Entrepreneurs Forum Transformation Advocates (NEFTA) has conferred President Goodluck Jonathan with the “Most Entrepreneurship Friendly President”.

NEFTA president, Dr.Sidney Inegbedion said the award was in realization of the enormous contributions the President has made to foster enterprise development and support for business in order to create jobs and empower Nigerian citizens through the private sector.

Speaking at NEFTA National Launch and Award Dinner for Patrons at the weekend, Inegbedion said under Jonathan’s administration, Nigeria has enjoyed stable political climate inspite of security challenges.

“This has continued to bring in foreign investments to the country, thus making Nigeria the NO 1 most preferred investment destination in Africa” he noted

A former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr.Okewsilieze Nwodo who received the award on behalf of President Jonathan commended the NEFTA initiative, noting that because of the unacceptable unemployment rate in the country, “self help initiatives like NEFTA should be supported”
