Jonathan-2015By Lawrence Olaoye

President Goodluck Jonathan will today pick the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Nomination and Expression of Interest Form to contest the 2015 Presidential election on the party’s platform.

Although the President is expected to pay the sum of N22 million for the party’s forms, his supporters across the country have been able to raise the sum of N100.5 million to that effect.

Jonathan, who has yet to formally declare his intention to contest the presidential election, will be picking the form to beat the October 30th deadline set by his party for interested candidates to obtain nomination forms to contest the 2015 elections.

Briefing state house correspondents on the matter, Jonathan’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, said “President Jonathan thanks all Nigerians, members of the PDP, friends, associates, and all groups who in sincere appreciation of the achievements of the administration in the last four years, have been urging him to seek a second term in office.
