Adamawa PDP guber aspirants embrace zoning

The Adamawa State governorship aspirants have collectively thrown their weight behind the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), over its decision to zone the next governorship candidate to Adamawa central.

The aspirants comprising of Idi Hong, Ahmad Umar Fintiri, Ahmed Gulak, Auwal Tukur and some others in a joint press briefing yesterday pledged their unalloyed support to the party’s decision which they said “reigns supreme over anyone’s decision”.

Alhaji Ahmed Gulak who spoke on behalf of the lot said they are not aware that the present governor of the state who hails from Adamawa North has joined the race for the governorship.

“We are not aware that the present Governor has picked a form to contest the governorship election, all we know we are loyal to the party and would abide by its decision of zoning the candidate to the Adamawa central”.
