A Plateau State gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Emmanuel Garba has promised to boost economic empowerment among Plateau citizens.

Garba who made the pledge in a statement signed by his Media Director, Comrade Sadiq Agama, said top in his agenda if elected was to ensure the success of creating job opportunities and human capital development in Plateau State through “Multipurpose Cooperative Society.”

Garba during a joint inaugural meeting over the weekend of the founding members of the APC Multipurpose Cooperative Society and his campaign organization also pledged to providing quality education and social well being of people of the state.

He however said, “I joined the governorship race in the state to also bring Christians, Muslims and traditional religions together toward rebuilding a better image of the state.”

The statement also called on the people of the state to unite and salvage the state from poverty, insecurity, unemployment and other social vices.
