A political group, the Abuja Peoples Democratic Youth Forum for Integrity, has berated a former Public Relations Officer of the North-Central Zone of the PDP, Alhaji Sa’idu Garba Zuba, for refusing to quit his position despite his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a press release issued to Peoples Daily and signed by the forum’s publicity scribe, Musa Yakubu Abdul, the Abuja PDP Youth forum said it is a common knowledge that Alhaji Saidu Garba Zuba has left the PDP to APC, yet he has failed to relinquish his position.

According to the release, despite his defection from the PDP to APC, he still went ahead to represent the PDP in the just concluded adhoc ward congress in Akwa –Ibom state, where, “he posed as PDP Zonal PRO”, the statement said.

The release further said, “His action is unexpected of a leader, therefore, we call on the various security agencies to immediately arrest and question Alhaji Sa’idu Garba Zuba over his impersonation as PRO of the PDP, whereas he is now in the APC.

The forum said it is making the call to forestall the denting of the image of the party, moreso as Alhaji Zuba has been making attempts to return to the PDP but was refused due to his defection to the APC.
